About The Highlands Foundation
A Foundation Built
to Reach Further
The Highlands Foundation expands access to screening, mental health support, and whole-person care for patients and families across Arkansas and our neighboring states.
OUR MISSION & VISION
Closing the gap between clinical care and whole-person well-being.
MISSION
We invest in programs and services that support the full continuum of cancer care—from prevention and early detection to treatment support and survivorship.
Vision
A region where geography, income, and circumstance no longer decide who gets the support they need to face cancer.

A sister organization, with its own mission.
The Highlands Foundation is an independent, donor-supported 501(c)(3) charitable organization. While we share a common heritage and commitment to serving those affected by cancer, we operate separately from Highlands Oncology.
We support programs and services that address gaps in cancer care. A gap may be any barrier that prevents individuals from accessing high-quality care, improving their quality of life, or receiving the education and resources needed to navigate a cancer diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship with confidence.
Through strategic grant funding, The Highlands Foundation invests in innovative programs and meaningful partnerships that remove barriers, expand access to care, and improve the lives of patients and families facing cancer.
Our Approach
The Highlands Foundation was created with a simple belief
The greatest opportunities to improve cancer care often begin by recognizing needs that others may overlook.
Guided by a Board of physicians, cancer care professionals, survivors, and community leaders, we identify unmet needs throughout Northwest Arkansas and invest in innovative solutions that improve the lives of patients and families affected by cancer.
Rather than limiting our support to a single program or initiative, we maintain the flexibility to respond to emerging challenges and promising opportunities. Whether expanding access to care, removing barriers for patients, supporting groundbreaking research, advancing early detection, strengthening survivorship, or launching new community programs, our focus remains the same—to make a meaningful and lasting impact where it is needed most.
Every investment is guided by one question:
Will this improve the cancer journey for the people of our community?
If the answer is yes, we believe it is an opportunity worth pursuing.
